Installing Windows XP 32 bit over preinstalled Windows XP x64 edit

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?QW1pdCBTb2xhbmtp?=, Mar 15, 2007.

  1. I have installed Window XP 64 bit edition on my system. But now, for some
reason I want to install Windows XP 32 bit edition back on my system. When I
try to boot from Windows XP 32 bit CD, it shows "Press any key to boot from
CD..." and on pressing any key it shows a blank screen which remains there
and I have to reset my system.

I have tried several methods but all in vain. Can anybody help me in
installing the old version back on my system. My PC is IBM Think Center 8291
    D2Q.

    Thanks.
