Installing Drive Image 7

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Alasdair Baxter, Jun 20, 2004.

  1. When I tried to run Drive Image 7 for the first time on my PC (OS
Windows 2000), a box came up saying that the file mscoree.dll was
missing so I found it on the internet and placed it in the relevant
    folder.

I tried again and a box came up saying "Please set registry key
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot
to point to the .NET Framwork installation".

I went into HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\Software\MIcrosoft but I cannot find a
..NETFramework nor an InstallRoot. Neither can I find a .NET Framework
    installation to point it at.

Please, can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?

Have you tried Symantec's support site?

I had the same problem. You need to install the microshaft .NET framework.
