    After performing an insert into a SQL Server table with an identity column,
    you can get the identity value from the @@IDENTITY variable.

    lol,
    you have to register at mcp site....
    any microsoft examination you give... gets you a MCP certification...
    use the information on your transcript to log into the MCP site and register
    your email passport id

    PS: SELECT @@Identity would also fetch you the last id.... just depends on
    what id you were looking for...
