IIC2.EXE Kernel32.dll error

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by The Other Guy, Nov 23, 2003.

  1. Hi,

My neighbour for the second time has had a problem with iic2.exe running in
    to problems within kernel32.dll.

The binary is located in the directory pointed to by %temp%, and does not
itself appear as any of the applications started at boot (Based on the
output of the SysInternals Autoruns programme). As before, I have removed
the binary to stop the error, but would like to know the origin of this
binary, and if possible the application that is installing and starting it.

Their son uses a lot of P2P and music software, so that is possibly the
origin of it. A search on Google hasn't turned up anything useful on
    'iic2.exe'.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    The Other Guy
