    Hello,

This is strange, but after restoring my Windows XP sp2 from standy
mdoe to normal running mode, the default web page opens fine, but when
I try to navigate away from that page, either a link in the same site
or an external link, IE hangs. I have to restart my machine so I can
navigate to other sites, etc. I've searched for the past couple of
hours on MSKB, Google, various forums and newsgroups, and I see others
having similar problems, but not this exact problem. In any case, I am
a developer and need to use IE so using Firefox is not an option for
me. Can someone please offer a suggestion or (even better) a solution
to fixing this. I even checked IE7 fixes and downloads on the MS
support site but didn't see anything that relates to this problem.

    Thank you,
    Buster
