ICS disabeling dhcp service possible ?

    Not quite sure what operating system you are running but...
    Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) assigns a static IP address to the
    computer that will share its Internet connection (something like 192.168.0.1
    or so).
    Does that answer to your question?

    i run xp_64.
    The question is for the other clients on 192.168.0.x net.
    With ICS a dhcp server runs on this net. For a testing scenario (i want
    another dhcp to run) it would be nice to have this (ics-) dchp disabled.
