For some time now (over a year I think) I have not been able to get to
the iboats.com website (along w' many others).

I have had a request to get some sucessfull traceroutes to the support
person that is dealing with this problem.

Could folk please send me their output from:
    tracert iboats.com
to , or just reply to the NG.

    TIA.

It would be that the website is hosted with a cheap host or crap host that
uses crap upstream providers. Very common with budget hosting. I also can't
    connect to it.

Neither can I right now - ISP's DNS? - I've never had this problem to-
date, but yep, can't even ping it at present.

Further to this - I also can't even ping it at present (this hasn't
    happenned to me before!).

If you do hit it, please also specify your ISP - as that would help me.

    http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=iboats.com
does indicate that the site does exist! :) (also shows some problems,
and it is on that that the support folk at Eli.net have asked me to get
    some traceroutes back to them).

I do remember some (maybe it was you) who posted this same query about this
domain. I can access it through www.hidemyass.com , but it looks like they
don't have a good route into NZ, to allow it to be accessed directly. It is
hosted in a datacentre in Saltlake city in the USA.

    Thanks, yes it was me.

Their direct IP (website's IP) is:
    209.63.105.8

So if folk would like to traceroute that, 'twould be much appreciated.

    Could you please try that?
