Today I have made 2 tries at doing a complete backup of my hard drive
using HP Simple backup. The first effort failed during the creation of
the second disk. The next try worked perfectly until the 9th disk was
being created. Then I got an error message saying that there was an
error in something that was supposed to be backed up, and that if I
could not correct the error, I would need to start the whole backup
again. I clicked "ok" not knowing what else to do, and HP backup quit
completely. I have Win98SE and have recently done a scandisk and
defrag, using Safe Mode. Any suggestions about how to do a successful
backup. I have done it before, with success, but it is time to do it
    again.
