HP Motherboards Celeron/Centrino

Discussion in 'Computer Information' started by Ronald Murray, Nov 8, 2006.

  1. Hello
I have a Compaq V2000 with bad motherboard. I purchased another used
    supposedly good one.
It's identical except there are a few extra things on the new one. I think
one may be a card reader. Does anyone know what these extra features are?
Mine was a Intel Celeron CPU. Can I use that Celeron CPU or do I need an
    Intel Centrino CPU?
    Thanks.
    ron
