How to make use of "print to file" option by print

Discussion in 'MCSE' started by =?Utf-8?B?enljZ3M=?=, Dec 30, 2004.

  1. We are asked to print a file from our customer's web site, which only has
"print option".We do not have a printer available connected with the internet
computer,so we choose the option by "print to file" per
instruction, and at the same time the file was saved as a new file with
suffix PRN.While when we try to print this new file by printer,we can not
    have it prited.
Could you please let me know how to make use of the function and let us
print files out from internet smoothy.
    Thanks a lot!

As far as I remember it's:-

    copy <filename.prn> lpt1:

If you have a network printer to send to then capture the port first.
