How to get better seperation /Definition between background and foreground in digital pics.

    Have that are very dark. Need a prog that will give better definition between
    background and foreground of pics- also is there a digital camera that is
    capable of taking very low light pics. Reply to baretale @yahoo.com

    It's all in the lighting (and depth of field.)

    Don't think of taking photographs - think of photographing the light.

    Side light and back light separate a subject from its background. Using a
    shallow depth of field (smaller aperture number, wider open aperture)
    emphasises this effect.
