    Dear All,

Does anyone knows what is the best way to backup settings and messages
    under Thunderbird?

I've got a new computer that I want to migrate to. With Eudora, I can
ask it (at setup) to store all my settings and messages under a specific
folder. Then I can backup and migrate all my messages to another
    computer very easily.

Thunderbird appears to be different. It stores all messages and settings
    under c:\Document and setttings\[user name]\Application
    Data\Thunderbird\etc\etc.

I am a bit loath to tinker around here. Any advice?
