How do I get FF to change plugins?

    FF 1.5, Linux (Debian).

Video opens in mplayer even though the preferences say to open mpeg in
kaffeine (as does the KDE file associations). How do I get it to open in
kaffeine (like it used to before I installed mplayer.)

The preference Actions does not let me remove one, nor does it show me any
    choices.

    Thanks,
    Al

Plug ins take precedence over helper applications. Disable the plug in
    for that specific mime type?
