How do I Firewal VoIP gateways/switches

Discussion in 'VOIP' started by Balwinder Singh Dheeman, Sep 15, 2003.

  1. Hi firends!

I have some Quintum/Cisco VoIP gateways/switches working on live IP
addresses and a Redhat Linux 9.0 box with 2 NIC's as a router and, or
firewall. I have configured the firewall via gnome-lokkit, but I'm
unable to protect my VoIP boxes and, or other machines behind this Linux
    router/firewall.

I have a working knowledge on scripting, but I do not know much about
the latest netfilter/iptables; preffer to use iptables only.

How do I stop unwanted access to certain and, or all ports on theses
VoIP boxes via linux firewall? Is there someone who can giude and, or
    provide me example scripts?

    Thanks,
    Regards,
