I am using Windows XP Pro OS and set up TCP/IP protocol for network
connection. I was reading somewhere, that a file called "host(s).txt" is
located on the computer. I tried to search for the file using search
function from the start button. I searched the hard drives, system folders,
and the hidden folders and files. I can not find that file anywhere. I
first began the search by typing in host.txt...when that failed I tried
host.? Still nothing. Does anyone out their know where this file is?

    Windows XP Home/Pro: "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

Edit the "host" file by right-clicking the file, then select "open
    with" and then select "Notepad"
