High index optical glass filter

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by Laszlo Lebrun, Jun 7, 2012.

  1. Hi
I purchased recently a polar filter.
I just wondered about the advertising statement "high index optical
glass filter" I thought that for a filter glass, a low index should be
better, since it is supposed to diffract as less as possible?
