"High Fidelity" oddness

    I watched this movie (finally) but for some reason my remote for the dvd
    player stopped working while using this disk. I put in another disk and
    the RC worked again. How can this be? I must be missing something....
    Fun movie BTW.

    probably your batteries. check to see that the compartment is closed
    properly with the batteries in place on the contacts. This is a good movie.
    It has also come down in price big time. In Canada, HMV is selling this one
    for $11.99 CAD if you buy it with one of many other titles at the same
    price.
