My Pavillion ,under warranty, computer is down for
28days for lack of a replacement part: 5187-3529, PCI Tech RAID interface
    card.
So far the only information from "HP Customer Care" is that the part is
    "pending".
HP would not give out any information relating to this issue. Like "what is
the name of the department","who is the person in charge of the order
department" or "could I have an HP phone number of that department so I can
call and find out what the status is".
There is an HP site on the internet with a screen showing the status of the
order showing that the part would be received 9/21/05. Of course it never
    happened and the
screen remains frozen at 9/21/05 even though today's date is 9/26/05.
What does "Customer Care" mean? What does the word "pending" mean?
