I've got an XP box that gave me this message after plugging in a slave drive to a Samsung 80 GB drive. About 2 minutes later i see that the drive is now blank. No folders or files.

Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas on how to get any of my data back?

XP Pro SP1 P3 - 850 512 MB RAM 20 GB Pri Master w/ CDRW slave 80 GB Sec Master

Please set your line wrap to 72 characters for newsgroups.

For your problem, was the drive partitioned and formatted?
