Help!!! Upgrading from Win 98SE - WinXP Pro

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Mark Patterson, Feb 3, 2004.

  1. Hi,

    Is it worth it???

Can I Upgrade from Win 98SE - WinXP Pro without having to do a full clean
install (ie wiping my HDD prior to installation?)...

I read somewhere that u can use a partition utility (eg Partition Magic) to
restrict a Operating sysem to one part of HDD...If this is the case can u
just wipe the old OS off this partition then install new OS to it?

    Regards,
    Snuffy

Posting the same question three times? Probably not. Once would've
    been adequate.
