in 1964, S.P. Martin published in Popular Photography a simple
Night-light exposure calculator. It won me some local awards
in the 70's It worked about 85% of the time, which given the
reciprocity and other issues, is stunning.

Now, I am still into film and starting digital, and want to
do night work again. My night-light calculator fell apart over
    15 years ago.

I need a field calculator, not a book or article, that I can
look to to get the first cut on the settings. Is there a
    new S.P. Martin calculator around?

    thanks!
