Hi, I am running win98SE and I have a single unpartitioned 20gig HDD. How
can I partition my HDD into two partions?

Do you have any comparisons between Partition Magic and other partitioning

Which version is garbage, btw? Or have you used them all?

Of course, that will destroy his existing partition. Might want to
include that little tidbit of information the next time you recommend
    FDISK.

    To the original poster:

Partition Magic is a good program. I haven't used version 8, so I
don't know if the newest release is "broken", but previous releases
    are excellent partition managers.

I've also used Paragon Partition Manager. I have no complaints.

Regarding getting a "free" partition manager: most of the partition
manager programs you could download are shareware, try-before-yo-buy
deals. Which means they're not free after all. Moreover, the version
you can download and try is a typically a *demo* version, and often
will not work on active partitions. So they wouldn't let you
re-partition your existing disk. You'd need to actually buy them and
unlock the rest of the functionality in order to do what you want to
    do.

    Cheers,
