graphic symbols on Excel 2002 "save as webpage"

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Laurence Smith, Nov 21, 2007.

  1. Hi,
I need to FTP a webpage up to my server. It's made using Excel 2002
and I need arrows pointing right in some cells and pointing left in
    others.
There's no problem on the local computer using the INSERT->SYMBOL
    character map.
But when I send it up to the server I only see the keys that I hit ( "
and !) but not the arrows.
Is there a way to do that?
    TIA

Copy same character set (font to the other PC) , send the Excel bit and
see if it's okay that way at least.

Fix the errors in the Excel/MS produced HTML that will cure it.

It doesn't show up how as a webpage in a browser or in another Excel
    after?

So you are FTPing the File Save As HTML file / folder pair that's
    created?

Is that by not using a screenshot?
