Foiling Spam Bots

    Hello,

I've used the following format on my web pages: <a
    href=mailto:>.

I know that there is a way to use the preceding so as to make the address
either unreadable or unusable to spam bots but do not know what to add or
    alter.

Can anyone inform me of what I have to do?

Like most people, I absolutely detest spam and spammers, and really don't
look forward to receiving their trash.

    TIA!

You're replying to a troll, impersonating Mara.
FYI, the troll posts from various remailers such as
    DIZUM &
    Mara *only* posts through Giganews.
Check the troll's headers against Mara's REAL headers:-

Learn to read headers, Martin. That wasn't me - it was Powaqqatsi Man. His
jealousy demands that he forge other posters. Sad, isn't it? :)

That's the 'keet - shooting off the mouth before knowing what he's talking
about, as usual. Of _course_ he didn't check the headers - he was in too big of
a hurry to try to attack someone he knows has his number. :)

His point is that nym.alias.net has a reputation, and it didn't get that
reputation because of the average high quality of the spew coming from it.
K-hole is only one example of that. You may not be like that, but if you use
that remailer, then you're taking the chance of being blocked simply because you
*are* using it. Not just in 24HSHD, but in other groups as well. Here's another
    example:
