    Group,

Here is a design question I would like to open up.

Hypothetical network with BGP facing the internet and OSPF as the RP
    internally. Here's a quick sketch:

    -----------------------------------------internet---------------------------
    ------------------
    BGP
    -----------------------------------------CPE
    network-----------------------------------------
    OSPF AREA0
    -------OSPF AREA1------------OSPF AREA2-----------------OSPF AREA3----
    | |

    | |

    FW1 FW2
    FW3
    | |

    | |

The idea here being is using ACLs on the routers up until firewalls, maybe
placing an IDS between area0 and BGP. Checkpoint is a good firewall
solution as you get the logging feature, allowing you to not have a "blind"
    network.

Does anyone out there know of a solution that provides the logs of a PIX
firewall to be seen on the level of CheckPoint?
