Firewall automatically disables File and Printer Sharing

  1. I recently upgraded my XP Home software to SP2 and am fully updated. I'm
running a small network and I want to share files and printers. In the
WIndows Firewall application, I select the "Exceptions" tab, and then put a
check in the "File and Printer Sharing" box, and then everything works fine.
However, when I reboot the computer, I notice that somehow the "File and
Printer Sharing" box is no longer checked, and I have to re-check it to get
    the services working again.

How do I keep XP from automatically disabling File and Printer Sharing each
    time I reboot my computer?
