Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Home Theatre Guy, Jun 25, 2006.

  1. I just got sick of trying. So ichanged to IE and first go it worked. I
entered my Name and password and worked. I thought i was typeing it in
wrong somehow but nope its Firefox screwing somthing up.

Any ideas. It seems to work sometimes but most of the time no go.
Seems not to remember the passwords either though it says it does
with the diolouge box comes up asking to do so.

    Thanks for any info.

It may be site-specific problem. For example, a yucky website called
mail.indiatimes.com does not logs you in with firefox/mozilla. But if you try
Bill's exploDer, then it works right away.

Also, pressing the enter key after password (the usual short method) does not
works there. You need to drag the mouse to the "Sign in" or "GO" button! Yikes,
talk of space-age www with such websites around.

Write a mail to the website that firefox is not honored and hence you will ask
ur friends not to use the site as well. Put pressure.
