    Hi,

After viewing and saving N jpeg or png images firefox slows to a
grinding almost halt. All software on the computer becomes very slow.
Clearing the firefox cache and restarting firefox returns performance
to normal initially, eventually the system must be rebooted to return
    performance to normal.

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5)
    Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
    Win2k-SP4, AMD 2700, 3Gigs, 7Gigs, 15Gigs of freespace on drives, 512
    RAM, 1Gig Virtual Mem

    Is this a memory leak?
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, please post the
    workaround?

    Thank you and Happy Valentines.

Please do NOT crosspost between groups. Pick one group and ask there
    Crosspost to other groups snipped.

Note the System requirements for Firefox
    http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/system-requirements.html

the 'Recommended' OS for Windows is XP
while it may run on the other OS versions, there may be occassions and
situations where it doesnt perform well.

    Workarounds, limit your cache.
