firefox kills wlan adapter

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Michael Leithold, Feb 19, 2006.

  1. I have a very strange problem here. Maybe someone here has a clue on
what happens. Or at least an idea on where to start.
Everytime I open a certain web site (www.spiegel.de) with firefox my
network connection immediately drops. I then cannot get my wlan adapter
to work unless I reboot _twice_. It doesn't even work with win xp after
    one reboot.
My OS is Suse 10 32bit and the standard firefox installation (1.06?), I
have a AMD 64 processor with a Fujitsu Siemens wlan adapter connect2air
5400 D1700. I use ndiswrapper and the latest win32 drivers.

    TIA, Michael Leithold
