Firefox keeps crashing?

  1. Does this say anything as to the cause of it crashing? It then usually
    asks for an error report...

Not got much response on this one ?

I just tried uninstalling Firefox 1.0.7 and reinstalling it and before
the browser opened I got the following error message:

"Generic Host Process for Win32 has encountered a problem and needs to
    close"

Looking into the error report it says the following...

    "szAppName: svchost.exe szAppVer 5.1.2600.2180
    szModName: scnedsvc.dll szModVer 5.1.2600.2180 offset: 00005019

Any ideas what Firefox doesn't like ?

It does open up, but I recon it will crash at some point.

    Thanks

Try running Firefox in safe mode.

An incompatible theme or extensions may be the problem.
