This is what Agent Ransack found for Mozilla's HISTORY. This is only a small
part of them. There was no choice to "show sidebar." Can someone give me
the actual *path* to the list of Temp Internet Files?

in the world of Mozilla, they're called Cache files, and to
locate them, in the address bar type in:

    about:cache?device=disk

and this will tell you the location of those files.

NOTE: History and the Cache files are two different things.
History tells you what web sites you have previously
visited. You can get to them by clicking on History, View
    in Sidebar.

The Cache files are similar to the Internet Temp Files.
Cache is the term for the Mozilla world, while ITF are for IE.

If you mean here - it's useless as the cache doesn't list them. It just has
    meaningless numbers.

I explained previously that Mozilla/Firefox stores cached files using
"token" names, made up on the fly, not the names of the original files
downloaded from the Web site you visit. I gave you a link to read about
how and why that is done.

However, the principle is the same as in Internet Explorer, it's just
    implemented differently.

When you visit a site your browser downloads all the files needed to
display the site. It normally (unless you, like I, tell it to NOT store
those files locally) will store ("cache") those files on your hard drive
so that the next time you visit the site, it will display the site more
quickly. This is important for dial-up users. It is virtually useless
for broadband users as most sites download so quickly as to render the
cache technique redundant and wasteful of disk space.

and you still haven't told us why you want to delete individual files
and leave others on your hard drive. Why do you want to do this? What
purpose is served and why are you driving yourself and all of us nuts
    about this?

sort of. You look at the cache by putting this in the
    address bar:

    about:cache?device=disk

then you look at the large ones, with data size such as
20,000 bytes [for example]. If you click on the key to
that, it will open up in another tab. Look a little ways
down and you will find "file on disk:" and if you look at
that, it will tell you the location of that file and the
name of that file. Thats how you read it.

I say to look at the large ones, because most [not all of
them though] of the smaller ones are kept under the files of
    CACHE_001 or CACHE_002 or CACHE_003.
