    Greetings:

This an FYI only. After removing the previous version of Firefox and
installing version 6.0.0.1, hyperlinks would not open Firefox by default
even though Firefox was set as the default browser. That is to say,
hyperlinks would open Internet Explorer rather than Firefox.

To correct the problem, I set Internet Explorer as the default browser and
then again set Firefox as the default browser. That corrected all the file
association problems with I.E. and Firefox.

Everything then worked as advertised and still does. Other than that, no
problems with Firefox. It seems that it just keeps getting better and
    better.

It should be fantastic, if you're up to v. 6.0.0.1!:)
