FIREFOX download box does not go away

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Frannnnkkk P., Dec 9, 2004.

  1. This problem has persisted in the last several releases.

After a download, the requester box disappears as it should. That's the
way I have it set in preferences. After a while, the box chooses to
remain after a download, and it has to be clicked away. Once it starts
doing this, that behavior continues until I exit and restart FIREFOX.

    Huh? Eh? Why?

Yep, it's been a known bug for a while now... minor inconvenience, so
I'm sure it's not a high on the "fix it" list.

Oh, okay, thanks. I thought maybe I had something screwed up with the
install. It's a small problem, for sure.

It does annoy me some times though.

Same here. I use Ctrl-W to close it. Be careful, though, not to hold the
key combination down for too long... ;-)
