Yeah so I like firefox..hence why I use it. So I wake up, get all ready to
hit up ticketmaster.com at 10am for metallica tickets when they go on sale.
Like a lot of sites now, after you enter how many you want, it has this
graphic box...and you have to enter the word depicted in the box. The word
is usually fuzzy, has lines through it etc, to prevent bot use, etc. So I
put in the word it says...and it tells me I'm wrong...hrm...that's
weird....so I put in the next word wrong again....what the heck? Yeah so I
do this 5 more time...it's not working. So I finally swing to the last
resort, open up IE and BOOM. Works on the first try. Sadly, it had already
cost me decent seats to the show.

What the hells up with this? FF cant even handle a simple data form!?

    Works for me. Using:
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040302
    Firefox/0.8.0+

You have cookies and stuff turned on?

I personaly have never had a problem with those graphic boxes and
    entering the word.
Do you have any extensions installed that might cause a problem or
perhaps a 3rd party Ad blocker or Proxy (like proxomitron)

Yes, everything's enabled as it should be.

Try going to ticketmaster and buying some random tickets...it may be an
incompatability with their site...?? (dont worry u wont be obligated to
    purchase them)

Nope...nothing running. Only ad blocker on is what's integrated into firefox
and even THAT I dont see remotely why it would affect a bot checker.

Worked fine for me. Jimmy Buffet, Atlanta, Ga., word was "calin", found
    no tickets.

    --

There were no tickets available that matched your request
There are several things you can try:

    * Change the quantity of tickets you are requesting.
    * If you selected a specific seat section, switch to "Best Available".
    * If you are unable to find tickets, be sure to check back often.
As the date of the event nears, many times a limited number of tickets
    may be released.
    * If you entered a promotional code, check that the code is valid
for the ticket price and criteria you selected.

I did. That's why I said "Works for me." ;-) I got those "fuzzy, has
lines through" things you spoke of in your first post. Entered the
password and got some list of available tickets, with a note saying it
was 2 minutes left to decide whether I wanted them or not, so I gathered
it worked alright; unless you meant something else...?
