    I've recently installed FF 1.5, and in trying to add a search engine in the
    *add engine* box, I get directed to the site
    https://addons.mozilla.org/search-engines.php and choose one.......however,
    the engine does not appear in the drop down list. I've disabled all my
    extensions and even uninstalled/re-installed FF and tried it on a clean
    install. By using the *all in one sidebar toolbar* extension, I came across
    the following error whenever I tried to add an engine.........can anyone help
    please??

    This is the error I saw.......

    Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code:
    0x80570016 (NS_ERROR_XPC_GS_RETURNED_FAILURE) [nsIJSCID.getService]"
    nsresult: "0x80570016 (NS_ERROR_XPC_GS_RETURNED_FAILURE)" location: "JS
    frame :: file:///D:/internet/Firefox/components/nsSidebar.js :: anonymous ::
    line 192" data: no]
