Finding speed of a CDR using "test"?

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by TheHiddenPoster, Nov 28, 2005.

  1. I just got a new CDRW--52X. Nero came along with it.

The thing is that I have about 20 old HiVal CDs serial number HCDR-50RS.

To be honest, I don't know what speed to burn them at. My old writer used
2xx, so I know I can burn at that speed. can I tell Nero to test the CD
and burn at that speed if it suceeds? Or should I just keep the speed low
    to be safe.
