I thought I read somewhere (in this newsgroup?) that the final release of
Firefox 1.0 was expected on November 7.
Did I misunderstand? I don't seem to be able to find it antwhere.

    Thanks!

November 9, though don't expect it right on that day. It might be out
then, but it wouldn't be unusual for the release to be a couple of days
late, with last minute polishing and all. 1.0RC2 is out, and will
likely be very close to the final release.

Firefox 1.0 has gone gold and will be released on the 9th.

A nightly build was released which might turn out to be the final
    release.
