File Sharing

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?Um9iIERld2Fy?=, Dec 8, 2005.

  1. I recently set up a wireless connection using a Belkin USB Network Adapter. I
have managed to share the internet connection with the computer and I can
access files from that computer on this computer. The problem is accessing
files from this computer on the other computer.

I go into network places and go into the network but when I try to access
this computer I get the following error message:

"\\(Computer Name) is not accessible. Windows cannot find the computer or
share name. Make sure the computer or share name is valid and that you are
connected to the netowrk, and then try again."

The computer name is valid and I am connected to the network, I've tryed
everything from running network wizards on both computers to altering loads
of different settings on this computer to try to make it accessible but I
    have had no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
