FF 1.0.4 Frame Target Problem

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Stephen Chalmers, May 23, 2005.

  1. Looking through the FF bug reports, some allude to this bug in several
forms, but there seems not to have been any proper confirmation of it.
Under some circumstances in a framed site, pages targeted to be opened in
another frame are opened full screen. I circumvented the problem by renaming
the target frame to something other than 'main', but there may be other
    words the browser doesn't like.
I've created a bare-bones test case below; does anyone know more about this?
For anyone wishing to experiment with this, I should mention that FF is also
reluctant to reload a frameset-defining page.
