    Hi All,

Can anyone help me on this issue. I got a lot of "output errors" in my
fastethernet interface. what is the meaning of output errors? and why
    it even more than collision?

FastEthernet0 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is DEC21140, address is 0060.5c5d.640a (bia 0060.5c5d.640a)
    Internet address is 1.1.x.x/16
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 100000 Kbit, DLY 100 usec,
    reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set, keepalive set (10 sec)
    Half-duplex, 100Mb/s, 100BaseTX/FX
ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never
Last clearing of "show interface" counters never
    Queueing strategy: fifo
Output queue 0/40, 0 drops; input queue 1/75, 0 drops
    5 minute input rate 369000 bits/sec, 83 packets/sec
    5 minute output rate 56000 bits/sec, 51 packets/sec
3713062 packets input, 1646856803 bytes, 0 no buffer
    Received 888550 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles
    13 input errors, 13 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort
    0 watchdog, 0 multicast
8 input packets with dribble condition detected
    2927595 packets output, 903835356 bytes, 0 underruns
6240 output errors, 4494 collisions, 4 interface resets
    0 babbles, 0 late collision, 0 deferred
8 lost carrier, 0 no carrier
0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out

    Thanks

    Raymond

Raymond - Make sure that the other end of the FE connection isn't set
for Full Duplex. If the (half duplex) FE interf. on your router starts
receiving a frame while it's transmitting, I wonder if it may log it
as an output error. Just a thought.
