FaceBook Understands Security

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Lawrence D'Oliveiro, Oct 14, 2010.

  1. I like these new security features that Facebooks is introducing
    <http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/10/13/facebook_one_time_passwords/>.

The temporary-password idea sounds good, though it is still theoretically
possible for an insecure PC to wreak havoc on your account within that 20-
minute window. Being able to remotely logoff a session from another machine
    could help to mitigate that.
