I have an Exabyte HH CTS DAT drive which appears faulty but I
would like to be sure before I throw it out.
The drive reports the tape type correctly as well as its capabilities
so I think its connected properly but it fails a test program and
gives an error with a tape backup program. Is there any way to
verify the drive or is it definitely faulty and ready for the dump?
