    I am using a UK keyboard, can anybody tell me which key or combination of
    keys to press to bring up the Euro symbol?

    You need to use a 'character set' that includes that character; such as
    ISO-8859-15 ('Latin 9'), or UTF-8 ('Unicode'). And a suitable 'font' too
    of course. Some programs aren't yet able to manage such new-fangled
    things.

    My "€" symbol should also work; however, Pancho, your message seems to
    lack a proper Content-Type header, so the euro's that are in Ponder's
    reply look like generic currency symbols to me.
