    Hi guys,
I have run ethereal in a switched network, using PVST. I have noticed
that it captured frequently on different Vlans the following:

    Protocol: Loop
    Info: Reply

and it showed the same MAC address. Are they the Hello messages from
    the root bridge?

    Regards,
    Andy.

Ethernet keepalives I think. No keepalive on the vlan should make them go
    away.
