Epson 7500 contrast

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by Whistleblower, Jul 26, 2003.

  1. Hi Folks,
Today I used a friend's 7500 to make some enlargements and
    had a hell of a time getting good contrast - I couldn't
get deep black shadows. Is this common with the 7500?
I was using heavyweight matte, maybe that has something to
do with it, but when I use that paper on my little 875 I
get good contrast. Is it the pigment inks?
Sure would appreciate some wisdom from you all.

    Thanks,
    Jack
