With all the online translators available you would think people with
different languages would converse more. When I get an email of
another language I can't paste the contents into a translator because
the "text" is just symbols meaning nothing.

How does one change settings of their computer or their browser such
that french email comes through as "text" that one could just paste
    into an online translator?

For instance, if I receive a spanish email asking me if I speak
spanish what I see in my email body is not the "text" habla espanol?
but I see wierd symbols such as @#a%%4y U**~$"

But I want the body of the email to read "habla espanol?"

    What settings do I change?
