This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

Notice that the addy they rejected is not what I sent. Checking my Sent
Items shows the right To: address

    I am using Comcast.
It makes no difference if I use Outlook Express or use Comcast's web base
    mail.

Any idea what to do? Comcast is the only available cable system.

It's an alias. Mail to redirects to
which for some reason is rejected.

The recipient MTA processing can change the address from the way it was
    sent.

Time magazine's letters to the editor section still advises the address
    you used http://www.time.com/time/contactus2/ F E E D B A C K - Letters
to the Editor of TIME Magazine - <mailto>

The names of the MXes for time.com are messagelabs.com

The names of the mxes for timeinc.com are also messagelabs.

There's nothing useful at the messagelabs site.

    > Notice that the addy they rejected is not what I sent.

It is very common for email to be redirected, but generally not
    'errantly'.

The same thing happened to this person in 2008 Aug
    http://home.comcast.net/~wjbraith/Time0808.pdf

.... but besides that link, apparently it isn't a common enough problem to
    appear frequently.

Since the address is published and must be used 'frequently' but there's
not much problem with this misdirection, I think I would keep trying the
    same address.
