Eckert interview

    of an interview with J Presper Eckert, one of the inventors of ENIAC, the
    first (unclassified) programmable electronic computer.

    He's dismissive of both Atanasoff and von Neumann. The former I can
    understand, the latter not: von Neumann was the first to appreciate the
    possibilities of storing the program using the same sort of memory as the
    data: something which ENIAC did not do, because it was programmed using
    plugboards and switches.
