    Hi All.
This may sound silly and I must admit it sounds confusing to me but,
I'm getting like most a great deal of spam. Now as you can see i'm not using
my real E-mail address when using newsgroups, so it's not coming from you
    lot! or is it?
When I use the web,ie browsing i'm open to spam because I suppose my real
    E-mail address can be seen,
is this how I get most spam? If so how can I stop or reduce it?
    Cheers

    Oh, I don't know - I don't get any. :)

Your munge is incorrect. Spam will still be sent to btinternet.com, and thus to
you. The munge goes _after_ the @ sign.

A lot of spewage is coming directly from btinternet itself:

    http://tinyurl.com/w8s0
    http://tinyurl.com/w8sb

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to be fixed.

Munge your address correctly, or use an invalid domain for your address. And
never give out your information online - use a throwaway e-mail address.

No, that's NOT better. *ONLY* use .invalid as the TLD (whatnot.invalid).
