Hello- newbie here. I just bought a DVD recorder and would likesome
recommendations as to how/what blank discs to buy. Price is a concern, of
course, but reliability is an overriding concern. I have more than 100 movies
on laserdisc and the main reason I bought the recorder is to archive these,
since I'll never be able to replace the LD player once it goes bad, nor do I
want to pay an arm and a leg to repair an obsolete piece of equipment (I just
paid $120 to repair damage from a power surge- and I'm sure as time goes on
repair prices will increase and parts availability will dry up). So...

What recommendations do people have for a good quality dvdr and what price is
good/ where to buy? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Jim
